"I was truly delighted to find golf still being taught in the tradition of the old masters. I recommend your school with enthusiasm. "
- Tony Wheeler, Chairman British National Golf Foundation
What sets Vintage Golf School Apart?
According to a recent survey, over the last ten years the handicap for the average golfer has actually increased by two strokes. This is in spite of space age equipment, a ball that goes 30 yards further, state of the art high speed photography, countless golf gurus, instructional videos, gimmicks, The Golf Channel etc. It is the view of Vintage Golf School that this phenomenon can be charged directly to the so called "modern methodology" that is currently advocated and used by the majority of today's instructors.
Although some of the modern methods have shown to be effective for the young, strong, athletic student, they are for the most part difficult and in some cases impossible for the average golfer to execute, particularly the lady or senior student.
Vintage Golf School advocates to their students the easy, flowing classical movements that produced so many great champions of the past, both men and women. Remember, a good swing in 1930 would be a good swing today. A good swing is a good swing!
